Following the publication of Post-16 results for 2025, Mr. Simon Budgen, Headteacher, is delighted to report another excellent year of achievement in A-level, AS-level, and BTEC examinations at Hawarden High School. Notably, nearly half of all grades awarded were at A*, A or B, and a large number of students have successfully secured their first-choice destinations at university, apprenticeships, or employment.
Commenting on this year’s outcomes, Mr. Budgen said:
“I am exceptionally proud of our students’ accomplishments this year. Their results are a testament to their resilience, determination and hard work, as well as the ongoing commitment of our staff and families. I warmly congratulate each student and look forward to hearing about their future achievements.”
Mrs. Izzi Birch, Assistant Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form, added:
“It has been a joy to support such a driven and capable cohort through their Sixth Form journey. Their impressive results speak to their talent and perseverance, and we are thrilled to see so many now progressing to top university courses, degree apprenticeships and employment opportunities.”
