WORLD BOOK DAY

Today, Thursday 4th March, is World Book Day! Things are different this year as students are remote learning and lots of people are working from home but we still had a great time marking the occasion.

During form time this morning, our students were able to celebrate World Book Day in a really fun way by taking part in a Masked Reader Competition! Their teachers filmed themselves reading from their favourite books while disguising their face with a virtual mask. Students had to guess the teacher and the book that they had chosen to read!

There were three rounds in the competition, and points were awarded for correct guesses with the aim of achieving the highest score.

Thanks to Mrs Thomas, our Literacy Coordinator and Assistant Curriculum Leader for the Communications Faculty, for organising the competition.
