TECHNIQUEST AND STEM LEARNING FREE online mentoring for students

Techniquest, a partner of STEM Learning, is promoting an exciting online mentoring programme for Year 10/11 and 12/13 students starting in the new year.

The programme is run by the STEM Ambassador and Student Facing programme teams in partnership with the charity Brightside and offers six or ten weeks of free online mentoring sessions for students.

“An opportunity like no other. It encourages young students to go and achieve above and beyond in STEM careers.” (Mentee in our previous programme).

STEM learning has hundreds of STEM Ambassadors from numerous STEM industries ready to support students and help them make informed decisions about their future studies and career. This is all provided via a secure and moderated messaging system.

Young people taking part will receive:

 ·       the opportunity to choose their own mentor

·       one-to-one support and inspiration from a DBS or PVG checked STEM Ambassador

·       training on how to use Brightside’s secure and moderated messaging system

·       support and resources to help them make informed decisions about their future
