The last few days have been the best we’ve had as a school community for some time. It has been such a pleasure to see pupils and teachers being back in the building and interacting with one another. Pupils have been excellent – a real credit to themselves, their parents/carers and, of course, to their school! Whilst pupils have appeared a little bit apprehensive on entry to the school we have had plenty of smiles and positive feedback when they have been leaving. Well done and thanks to them!
I also wanted to thank parents/carers for helping to allay any fears and to explain the concept of the phased school re-opening to their child(ren). The success of the procedures in school is down to the whole school community readily accepting the processes and instructions and adhering so well to social distancing.
Thank you also to all those pupils who are continuing with their distance learning and again to parents for supporting with this.
Tomorrow we will get to see some of our older pupils; once again we are looking forward to seeing them.
I am very grateful to you for your continued support of the school.
Mr. S. Budgen
